The 21st century needs those who will follow Jesus by saving lives, restoring dignity, and creating hope for destitute and forgotten children in some of the toughest places in the world. Kids Alive Canada is one of five Kids Alive International multi-national organizations who believe the status quo is not acceptable and we are doing something about it.

We are a gathering point for men, women and children who dream of long-term sustainable change in the life of another person as a practical, meaningful expression of the heart of the God and the good news of Jesus Christ. Completing the Kids Alive International team overseas across 4 continents and 14 countries, is a dynamic and committed group of Missionaries and National Staff doing the daily ministry of raising children to become empowered and enabled contributing adults. Children are being rescued. Lives are being changed. Communities are being restored. What we are doing is working!

The Kids Alive Difference

Kids Alive International takes a unique approach to caring for children who are in difficult, often harsh, circumstances in some of the toughest places around the world.

The children we help are almost always orphaned or abandoned and in great need. We do much more than provide food and shelter. We invest in every part of a child's life – bringing him or her into a 'family' with other children, under the care of committed Christian house parents. Our Care Centres and Schools are an extension of that same family focus to the practical everyday support needs of children in our homes and in the community.

In this family-style environment we can provide safety, social stability, education, hope for a productive life and – most importantly – the Christian witness and encouragement needed to come to a saving knowledge of Jesus Christ and an active walk of influence throughout their lives.
